Vietnam Veterans
& Veterans MC
—
The Veterans MC or VMC has been in Australia since 1989, originally known as the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club (VVMC). In late 1989 several Vietnam veterans started to work with the 1% Clubs around Australia to have a Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club, after negotiations several Vietnam Vets placed an advertisement in a Melbourne newspaper seeking those Vietnam Veterans who were also Motorcyclist who would be interested in becoming involved in a Motorcycle Club. There was a very strong response, so at the Broadford Hotel the Victorian Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club was born. During the same time other like-minded Vietnam Veterans across Australia were coming together and forming chapters in VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, WA & the NT. By the end of the 1990s the New South Wales Chapter had become so large that two new chapters were started, that being our Northern NSW Chapter, and the Federal Chapter, in the ACT .

“Since 2000”
—
In March 2000 a few members decided to start a Section of the NSW Chapter in Northern NSW, and so it became known as the NORTHERN NSW Section of the VVMC. In 2006 our Chapter became an Incorporated Association and on the 1st of September 2013 the NORTHERN NSW Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans MC became the NORTHERN NSW Chapter of the Veterans MC. Northern NSW chapter based in Mullumbimby NSW.
Our chapter celebrated 20 Years of camaraderie in 2020, and thousands of miles of riding, so if you have served this great country or not, and live to ride, then contact us to join in.
